ABOUT OUR CLUB

INTRODUCTION

Tri-City Homing pigeon club known as TCH started at Solano County “Northern California” on February 14, 1973.  Over the years, some of the top fliers in United States raced in our club.  Our race course go from east to west, we go from high desert over the Sierra’s from 9000 feet above sea level, down to sea level.

We want to introduce our club to anyone interested in Racing Pigeons especially anyone living in the Vallejo, Fairfield, Vacaville, Napa and Sonoma areas.

We have a clubhouse located in the Suisun City area that was purchased a few years ago and has been extensively remodeled to hold our club meeting.  The work has been performed by our members and the results are very pleasing to all of us.

We fly in the Northern California Combine (NCC) and Bay Cities Combine (BCC).

Our club currently has about 30 members and includes some of the finest flyers in the area.  We welcome new flyers and work very hard at introducing them to our sport and making them welcome and competitive if they work for it.  This includes providing birds, helping with loft construction and providing support in the settling and training.  We can guarantee getting you to the races but cannot guarantee wining.  That comes with work, patience and luck but enjoying the goodwill and fellowship will come immediately.

Flying pigeons can be very rewarding and fun but it involves work and patience.  You have to first enjoy the birds and keeping them.  The rest comes later!
